Lucentum is a forward-thinking accountancy firm with a clear aim: to disrupt the financial services sector by providing friendly, fully tailored solutions wrapped in a refreshingly light-hearted brand.
The company’s business champions offer a wide range of accounting services to small to medium sized business, including self-assessment tax returns, financial planning and all manner of bookkeeping and secretarial support.
Lucentum made it clear from the start of their web project that they wished to retain their existing branding. However, they were eager to invest in a new-look site that could better meet the needs of their growing client base.
The brief was simple: create a web platform that doesn’t look like a typical accountancy firm’s website. Intuitive navigation, good use of colour and a clear User Experience would of course be essential to the design’s success, but Lucentum wanted to create something that was instantly recognisable amid the sea of somewhat stale-looking sites that were on offer from their direct competitors.
It was also vital that the new website was fully mobile-responsive to ensure that audiences using all kinds of devices were able to enjoy a smooth, seamless navigational experience.
After several in-depth consultations with the client to finalise the brief, we designed a 40-page, fully responsive website with a dynamic navigation system that perfectly showcases the services – and, perhaps more importantly, the unique approach – of this growing firm.
Copywriting and SEO best-practice ensured engaging copy and optimised on-page metadata; and we created a range of bespoke illustrations and icons to further enforce the brand mantra of ‘bright business’.
